Biography

Katherine Barr is a lighting designer and photographer who tells stories through light. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Design and Technology from Colorado State University, where she focused on lighting and projection design to craft immersive, visually striking experiences.

 

Her love for theatre began at an early age, inspired by the power of lighting to shape mood and emotion. During the pandemic, she discovered photography, which expanded her artistic eye and refined her ability to capture the nuances of light in both natural and theatrical environments. With a blend of technical skill and creative vision, Katherine is pursuing a path as a master electrician, aiming to fuse innovation with artistry in the world of theatre.
